Cancun, Q.R. — A Cancun motorcycle driver was killed early Sunday morning during an intersection collision. The 35-year-old driver died after crashing into the side of a passenger transport van.
According to Cancun Police, the 7:30 a.m. accident was reported at the intersections of Avenida López Portillo and Avenida Nichupté in SM 104. Early morning motorists reported the fatal collision.
Paramedics pronounced the motorcycle driver dead at the scene. Cancun Police identified the driver of the passenger van as 25-year-old J.E. He was taken into custody from the accident site for questioning. There was no word on charges.
