Drugs, gun possession lands four in Cancun jail

Cancun, Q.R. — Four suspected members of a drug trafficking cell were captured in an operation carried out by elements of the Quintana Roo Police.

The three men and one woman were taken into police custody Monday night in SM 211 of Cancun. During their operation, police arrested the four who were found in possession in excessive of 200 bags of marijuana and an AR-15 weapon with ammunition.

Taken to jail were 40-year-old Reymir A.S. from Cuba, 25-year-old Jenner P.C. and 20-year-old Henry Alexander L.O. from Tabasco and 20-year-old Cintia Abigail G.G. from Chiapas. The four were arrested in the El Petén Costa Azul subdivision of Cancun. The Hyundai car in which they were traveling, was seized.
