Cancun, Q.R. — A man who was stopped by police for his excessive speed was arrested after he was found carrying a loaded gun.
Police report the arrest of 39-year-old José N when he was stopped for excessive speed at the intersection of Kabah avenue and Cobá. Their report says when he was intercepted by police for a road violation, they found the subject carrying a squad-type pistol and 54 bullets.
The man was arrested in SM 31 and his black Audi SUV seized. They say the subject admitted to not having a license to carry a weapon. The vehicle was plated from the state of Morelos.
