Cancun, Q.R. — Four vehicles were left damaged after colliding on a city street Thursday afternoon. Transit officials were sent to deal with the four car crunch in SM 50 where one person was reported injured.
The accident occurred just before 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Nachi Cocom Avenue and Lol-Tun Street when, according to witnesses, one of the vehicles failed to yield to oncoming traffic.
Instead of yielding, that vehicle crossed the busy avenue encountering another vehicle. The second vehicle hit a parked car that was pushed into a fourth vehicle, also parked.
One driver was assessed by paramedics at the scene but not taken to hospital. The driver of the vehicle alleged responsible for the crash left the scene before police arrived.

The damaged vehicles were towed from the street. City cameras are being used to identify the responsible driver.
