Cancun, Q.R. — Cancun police responded to the Friday report of a dead man being thrown from a taxi. The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. when residents saw the man being ejected from the cab.
He was left laying on the side of a residential road where he was pronounced dead by paramedics. Police have not clarified reports if the man jumped from the taxi while it was moving, was forced out or if his body was tossed out by subjects inside.
The body was located by police on Leona Vicario Avenue near SM 94 on a dirt shoulder. A city ambulance arrived with paramedics who confirmed the 40-something year old man was dead. He is reported to have had visible physical bruising.
Police secured the area until the body was removed.
