Criminal carelessness leads cops to Cancun chop shop

Cancun, Q.R. — The person who left a stolen car parked on a public street is responsible for having a Cancun chop shop shut down. On Wednesday, a patrol unit in the area happened by the old model taxi on the street with its hood raised.

A quick run of the license plates revealed it was recently reported as stolen. Two men from inside the private garage that was part of a home in Region 231 were arrested. The garage was used to hide stolen vehicles where the were disassembled for parts that were then sold.
