Cancun, Q.R. — A man and a woman were shot after being chased by men in a vehicle outside a Cancun shopping area. The shooting happened Saturday afternoon in SM 219 when, according to local reports, both saw the vehicle and began to run.
In doing so, the gunmen inside the vehicle was able to locate both targets. Both the man and woman were shot. Police found one person laying on the street in front of a department store and the other laying on the street in front of a pharmacy.
They were reportedly leaving the shopping plaza around 4:30 p.m. and walking to their car when the shooting took place. Both are said to be between the ages of 30 and 35. They were transferred to hospital.
