Cancun, Q.R. — The driver of a motorcycle died Thursday night after hitting the back of a city garbage truck. The accident happened on a section of José López Portillo Avenue around 10:30 p.m.
Speed and a lack of caution are being blamed for the accident that happened near the entrance of a residential subdivision.
Paramedics arrived at the scene who confirmed the death of the 24-year-old driver. The area was cordoned off while authorities dealt with the scene.
