Cancun, Q.R. — Cancun firemen were able to save a city warehouse after a Sunday morning fire. Firefighters were sent to a building in the industrial zone early Sunday in response to a 9-1-1 report of thick smoke coming from inside the building.

Once on scene, firemen were forced to break down the door since the warehouse was closed. Inside, they located several pieces of heavy machinery burning. They were able to extinguish the fire, preventing spreading and saving the building.
In a brief statement, the Cancun Fire Department said “Sunday morning, the 911 emergency number received a report of a fire inside a warehouse in Cancún’s industrial zone.
