Cancun, Q.R. — A collision between a car and a palm tree in the Cancun Hotel Zone left the car in write-off condition. The accident happened Monday morning near the entrance at Kilometer 1.5 of Kukulcán Boulevard in the hotel zone.
According to witnesses, the driver of the car managed to lose control which caused him to crash head-on into a palm tree. The male driver was injured in the collision and treated by paramedics.
Traffic police were on hand to ensure the flow of vehicles while a tow truck arrived to removed the destroyed car.
