Cancun, Q.R. — Police in Cancun have arrested a woman after her husband was found dead in their back yard. Neighbors who saw what they believed was a dead man, made the report to 911.
Officers responding to their report arrived to find a woman attempting to hurriedly leave the home. She was headed for a parked vehicle when police arrived. In the back yard, officers located the body of a deceased man.
The incident happened Thursday morning in SM 247. The woman was eventually arrested after, while being questioned by police, they found contradictions in her version of events.
She was arrested from the Villas Otoch Paraíso home and jailed. Cancun police began an investigation into the death. Authorities have not reported on any official charges.
