Cancun, Q.R. — A woman accused of the death of her husband was arrested in Cancun . The woman identified as Zolia N was taken into police custody Wednesday from an apartment in SM 107 after an altercation between herself and her husband.
Nearby neighbors made a domestic violence report to authorities who in turn, arrived at the fourth floor apartment. Upon entering, they located a bleeding man inside the apartment’s bathroom.
The woman allegedly told police that during an altercation, she stabbed her husband in the leg. Police found him with a wound to his right femur. He died before paramedics arrived.
