Cancun, Q.R. — The drivers of a city bus and private car were arrested early Tuesday after colliding. Transit officers were at the scene of the accident in SM 260 where they located the two heavily damages vehicles.
The accident was reported to emergency services just before 6:30 a.m. Tuesday near the Prado Norte subdivision. Several bus passengers were reported injured and transferred to hospital.
The badly damaged bus was located on Flor de Mayo Street with Antonio Polo Rodríguez where it smashed into a private vehicle.
The collision caused that car to crash into at least one other vehicle that was parked on the street. A city stop / street sign was also left damaged during the early morning chaos. Witness were unable to provide information regarding the two vehicle crash. Cancun Transit officers were tasked with sorting out who was responsible for the accident.
