Cancun, Q.R. — City surveillance cameras in Cancun allowed authorities to locate a taxi driver wanted for disturbing public order. On Tuesday, the C5 Centre of Cancun located a Cancun taxi driver accused of aggressive behavior toward an Uber driver.
The Secretary of Public Safety and Transit of Cancun located the wanted driver by his unit on city surveillance. He was arrested after being reported by the general public for aggressiveness toward an Uber driver last week.
The incident was caught on private video at kilometer 9.5 of Kukulcán Boulevard in the Cancun Hotel Zone where the taxi driver can be heard uttering threats to an Uber driver.
After that private video went viral, the taxi driver was searched for and eventually located and arrested for “disturbing public order”.
