Cancun, Q.R. — A Cancun taxi driver was shot while inside his unit Thursday morning. The shooting took place while the driver was parked outside a Cancun hotel. Two men are reported to have approached the parked cab before opening fire just after 1:30 a.m.
According to preliminary information, the unidentified driver was hit by at least one bullet in the targeted attack. He was transferred to hospital in serious condition by a fellow Cancun taxi driver after being shot in the area of his right rib cage.
