Cancun, Q.R. — The suspect in a Cancun murder from May of this year will stand trial. The State Attorney General (FGE) says Salvador “N” will be tried for the murder of a Cancun man.
“According to the first acts of investigation, on May 22 of this year, the victim was walking down a street in the Paraíso Maya subdivision when Salvador “N” got out of a vehicle and from among his clothes, took out a firearm that he allegedly used against the injured party,” the FGE reported.
Salvador “N” was arrested in the streets of Cancun by Investigative Police along with two other people for his alleged relationship in drug dealing. During the arrests, police seized all of them with various doses of herb similar to marijuana and a substance similar to the drug known as crystal and a firearm, the agency said in a statement.
A Cancun judge has ordered Salvador “N” to remain in jail for the two years leading up to his trial on charges of qualified homicide.
