Cancun, Q.R. — A security guard from a Cancun school was arrested after he was found in possession of drugs. However, the drugs were stolen.
The unusual circumstances that lead to his arrest took place earlier in the week when the security guard was witnessed quickly scooping up a dropped bag from an accident scene in Region 91.
A witness who saw the driver of a car flee the scene after a crash, also saw a man pick up a small black bag that was dropped as the driver fled. The man was eventually tracked down at his place of employment. He was a security guard at a Cancun school where he had a locker.
Inside the locker, police located the bag described by the witness. Inside the bag was a block of cocaine along with a cell phone and name tag. Police proceeded to arrest 40-year-old Victor N, originally from Mexico City.
