Cancun, Q.R. — The bodies of three men have been found in wooded areas of Cancun. The bodies were reported discovered Tuesday by FGE search personnel. One of the bodies is that of a man reported missing the day before.
During their Tuesday morning search, the body of 35-year-old Rodrigo “G” was located. According to a briefing from the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), “Rodrigo “G” was found in a weedy area in the municipality of Benito Juárez, for whom an investigation was opened and a search alert issued.”
The FGE issued a missing persons alert for Rodrigo “G” on March 6. His body was found the following morning in a green area in the suburbs of Cancun. He was found wrapped in plastic. He had been shot to death.
During their general search, the FGE reported finding two additional bodies. On Tuesday afternoon, “the bodies of two males who had a search alert were located.” FGE search personnel located the two adult males who also had missing persons reports. The agency has not yet publicly identified the other two men found.
