Cancun, Q.R. — Residents walking along a dirt road in Cancun Tuesday reported a bagged body. Area residents came upon the body stuffed inside a pink suitcase in a field.
The discovery was made Tuesday morning in SM 242 that lead to the arrival of authorities. Although municipal police were called, they failed to arrive. Instead, a patrolling Geavig vehicle that saw the group of residents gathered, stopped.
After Geavig (Specialized Group for Attention to Domestic and Gender Violence) police confirmed the finding, personnel from the State Attorney General’s office arrived. The body was found inside a black bag that had been wrapped in a nylon hammock then stuffed inside a pink suitcase.
Cancun authorities have not commented on the finding.
