Cancun, Q.R. — Residents of the Santa Cecilia neighborhood in Cancun reported finding a dead man’s body. The body was discovered Tuesday afternoon on a dirt road about six kilometers from José López Portillo Avenue.
The location of the bodyy was reported to the 911 emergency number who deployed police to the area. At the scene, police confirmed the discovery of an adult male. His shot body had been dumped near a green area.
The site that was cordoned off by the Municipal Police for the arrival of state and federal authorities. Preliminary information indicated that the body showed signs of violence, however, no further details were provided.
