Cancun, Q.R. — A late night shooting in SM 251 of Cancun has left one dead and one injured. Police were called to an address on Galapago Street where one person, an adult male, was found dead.
An injured person located at the same scene is reported to be a teen. He was transferred to hospital in critical condition.
The shooting took place late Monday night. Neighbors reported hearing numerous shots before realizing two people had been hit.
A woman carrying a baby was able to safely run from the scene of the shooting. Her relation to the two shot people is not known. Police are continuing their investigation.
