Cancun, Q.R. — The bodies of three men thought to be employees of a local water and sewage company have been found murdered. Their bodies were discovered Thursday near the La Amistad neighborhood on the outskirts of Cancun.
The men were found laying side-by-side in a grassy area. Two of the men were reportedly decapitated, something that has since turned out to not be accurate. However, at least one of the men was wearing the company’s identifiable work clothes.
The men were found after a 9-1-1 report was made by a La Amistad resident. The area resident was walking the dirt road of his neighborhood around 10:00 a.m. when he made the discovery.
National Guard and elements from the specialized Jaguar Group secured the scene. An official statement has not been issued by any local authority on the bodies found.
