Cancun, Q.R. — A Cancun man who bought and sold real estate for a living was found gunned down inside his upper level floor apartment. A man authorities have identified as 40-year-old Carlos “V” was found dead after a 911 emergency report.
Police arrived at the apartment complex in SM 249 in response to the 3:00 a.m. call. Once inside, they located the body of the now deceased laying on his living room floor. He had been shot at least twice at close range.
According to a second person living in the apartment, two armed men entered the unit, shot Carlos “V” then fled down the apartment stairs where they boarded a motorcycle. Police have identified the firearm used as a .380 caliber weapon.
