Cancun, Q.R. — Three properties in Cancun have been searched after their alleged involvement in the recent murders of four. According to a statement from the State Attorney General’s Office, items found inside the homes, which included narcotics and firearm ammunition, were collected as evidence.
Cancun police continue with their investigation in the shooting deaths of four people that took place at Kilometer 16.5 of Kukulcán Boulevard on April 3. Since the shooting, four males have been arrested.
Their arrests lead to the search of the three properties which are located in the Paseos Chacmol subdivision, in Superblock 223 and another on Avenida Puerto Juárez. The homes are believed to have been the meeting places for those involved. All three homes have been seized by the state.
