Cancun, Q.R. — Police in Cancun were called to a home in SM 107 Tuesday after the report of a body inside a cooler. City officers responded to the 911 report that was made by an anonymous caller who reported the discovery in the streets of the Paraíso Maya subdivision.
Witnesses told police that the cooler was left there by subjects from a white taxi just before 10:00 a.m.
Police arrived to confirm the finding of meat inside several black bags, while forensic personnel arrived to collect evidence and remove the cooler and its contents. The contents of the large grey cooler are being tested to determine whether they are human or animal.
