Cancun, Q.R. — A police truck and public bus collided in Cancun Wednesday during a chase. The police unit crashed into the side of the public bus while pursuing a motorcycle allegedly involved in a robbery.
The accident occurred when the unit entered an intersection after beginning their chase in SM 51. Upon reaching Calle Mosquito and Avenida Nichupté, they met a public transport bus.
Although no injuries were reported from the public bus, a female police officer was transferred to hospital for face injuries she sustained during the collision.
