Cancun, Q.R. — Cancun police seized a private property last night as part of an investigation into child trafficking. The home was seized after a search operation led to the arrest of one man.

In a joint operation Thursday night, authorities executed a search warrant in Superblock 29 as part of an investigation into a human trafficking network involving minors.
During the operation, authorities removed one man from inside the home. He was taken into custody.
Evidence including several cell phones, drugs, and notebooks with details of the services performed by victims of this network was found inside.
The man in custody has not been named.
It is the second similar search operation in the city center in a week. Last week, four people were arrested from a home in SM 39 during a raid.
Police are still investigating if the criminal activity between the two properties is related.
