Cancun, Q.R. — Authorities have confirmed the discovery of five bodies inside an Isla Mujeres taxi. The taxi was found abandoned on Luis Donaldo Colosio Street in the Alfredo V. Bonfil suburb of Cancun early Monday.
Inside the cab was a narco-message left behind by those responsible.
“KEEP SENDING ME MORE OF THESE DOGS SO I CAN CONTINUE SENDING THEM DISMISSED UP. ATT TERROR SQUAD GROUP” (sic)
Authorities were alerted to the taxi after receiving a residential report of an explosion. The explosion appeared to have come from the rear of the cab. Once at the scene, police found black garbage bags that contained the bodies of five dismembered people.
Two bags were found inside the unit, while the other three bags were found in the trunk. All the bodies are reported to be male and between the ages of 20 and 40.
An inspection of the taxi revealed several bullet holes. At least four shell casings were found at the scene.
