Cancun, Q.R. — Cancun police responding to the residential report of foul odors arrived to find a body. Authorities reported finding the dead body in the trunk of an abandoned car.
They made the afternoon discovery after several neighbors in SM 59 reported foul odors coming from the vehicle. A foresnic medical team was brought in to collect evidence and remove the body, which municipal police reported, was in a state of decomposition.
Residents said the car had been noticed parked on Yaxcopoil Street for three days without being moved. The car had State of Mexico plates.
