Cancun, Q.R. — Four people were detained in a residential area of Cancun Tuesday after police found them in possession of drugs and firearms. Cancun police arrested Ángel N, Guadalupe N, Flor N and Abner N on drug and gun-related charges in SM 227.
The arrests of the two men and two woman happened while surveying police located a firearm at the waste of one of the men. While passing by, one male from the group opened the trunk of a red car, which is when police saw his gun.
Upon noticing police, he attempted to flee but was captured. A review of the group and the car revealed drugs, guns and ammunition.
