Cancun, Q.R. — A developing report indicates at least one armed man is responsible for a jewelry store robbery. The man entered the store inside the Plaza Galerías mall around 6:00 p.m. at which time he made off with several pieces of jewelry.
The black moto-scooter used in the robbery was found ditched in a green area. Cancun Police said in a brief statement that the bike, which they believed was the bike used, was located and seized by them during a search operation for the perpetrator.

“The Municipal Secretariat of Citizen Security and Transit reports that, after receiving a report of a robbery at a jewelry store in Plaza Galerías, officers responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
“As a result, a search operation was launched to locate the suspected perpetrator, and a motorcycle allegedly connected to the incident was seized. Information developing.”
