Cancun, Q.R. — Police in Cancun have arrested two men on murder charges after they were sent to the scene to investigate the report of an injured person.
A call placed into Emergency 911 reported that a man had been injured with a sharp object. Police arrived at the location in Region 92 of Cancun to verify the report, only to find that the injured man had already died.
Police found an unidentified male laying in the street in a pool of blood and requested an ambulance. Medical personnel arrived to verify the male was without vital signs. A witness reported that the now-deceased man was attacked by two others.
Police began a search of the area, whom they located a few meters away walking down the street. After an inspection of their persons, police found the weapon believed used in the death.
Arrested were 28-year-old Mario de Jesús and 31-year-old Carlos Daniel for the crime of homicide.
