Cancun, Q.R. — Police in Cancun have made an arrest in the shooting death of a combi company employee. The man was shot in the street shortly after noon Tuesday during a struggle with a second man. He was taken to hospital in a private vehicle but was pronounced shortly after being admitted.
Police in Cancun have since announced the arrest of 26-year-old Alexander “N” for the shooting death. In their report, police reported locating the now detained man from the scene.
During a surveillance tour of Galaxias del Sol Avenue, police came upon two men struggling. One of the men started shooting at the other before trying to run away. Police caught up with the shooter and made the arrest. Authorities did not provide any information as to what started the deadly argument.
