Cancun, Q.R. — A pedestrian died after being hit by a Cancun combi Monday night. The accident happened at 8:28 p.m. along Tulum Avenue in the city’s center.
Preliminary reports say the driver of the combi struck the man, who was crossing Tulum Avenue in SM 2. Witnesses requested medical assistance through the emergency 911 number.
When paramedics arrived, the unidentified man was already deceased. Traffic and Municipal Police personnel cordoned off the area. The driver of the combi, 27-year-old Moisés N, was taken into custody from the scene.
