Cancun, Q.R. — An adult male was killed Monday morning after being hit by a Cancun taxi driver. The accident happened in SM 67 around 8:00 a.m. on Tulum Avenue.
The man was attempting to cross the road when he was hit. Reports say he was a construction worker. He was found laying face down on the roadway beside the sidewalk. Witnesses to the accident alleged the driver of the car was speeding.
The Cancun taxi driver was arrested and taken into police custody.
