Cancun, Q.R. — A middle-aged man was killed after he was struck by a vehicle on José López Portillo Avenue in Cancun.
The accident occurred in Supermanzana 107 of the city. There were no details released as to how the man was hit, if he was crossing the street or walking along the shoulder. He has also not been identified.
The driver of the compact truck that hit the man allegedly attempted to escape, but was stopped a short distance later by police.
