Cancun, Q.R. — Two males were arrested by Cancun police after attempting to rob a convenience store with a gun.
Store employees said the pair entered and threatened them with a gun. The attempted robbery happened in SM 107 at a store in the Paraíso Maya subdivision of Cancun. Store employees were quick to request help.
Uniformed members of the Municipal Secretariat of Public Security and Traffic of Benito Juárez responded to the report. When they arrived, they found the pair and were able to place them under arrest. They are being held for corresponding authorities.
