Cancun, Q.R. — The suspect in the murder of a Cancun woman from December has been taken into custody. Police captured Luis Humberto “N” Thursday for the December 15, 2023 murder of an unidentified Cancun woman.
Police say Luis Humberto “N” was taken into legal custody on an arrest warrant in the streets of SM 306 of Cancun. During his arrest, he was found in possession of narcotics and is also being charged with drug dealing.
Police say their investigation indicates “that the captured person is allegedly related to a femicide that occurred on December 15, 2023, in Supermanzana 260 of Cancun when he attacked the victim with a sharp weapon, causing serious injuries which caused her death.”
With the evidence collected, a Cancun judge issued a warrant for his arrest.
