Cancun, Q.R. — A high speed collision into the back of a parked utility vehicle has left one person dead. Cancun Transit were at the fatal accident scene early Wednesday morning after a motorcycle driver slammed into the back of the parked heavy unit.
The accident happened at kilometer 2.5 on Kukulcán Boulevard near the entrance of the Cancun Hotel Zone. Emergency 911 sent an ambulance to the site where paramedics confirmed the motorcycle driver was dead.
According to preliminary information, the driver of the motorcycle failed to see the parked truck and clipped a back right section. The driver of the bike was thrown from the motorcycle. He landed on the concrete, suffering severe head trauma.
