Cancun man killed after four bullets penetrate side window

Cancun, Q.R. — A man was shot and killed in Cancun Tuesday when his vehicle was sprayed with bullets. The man was traveling in SM 505 when bullets were fired at the passenger side of his SUV.

The vehicle came to rest in the middle of the lane, which is where police located the deceased man. He was found slumped over in the driver’s seat. He has been identified as 33-year-old José Miguel N.

Emergency 911 received the residential call of shots fired at 3:14 p.m. Four bullets penetrated the passenger side window, killing the driver. There were no passengers in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.

Casings from a Legend 9 mm Eagle were found at the scene. Those responsible are alleged to have fled the area on a motorcycle.
