Cancun, Q.R. — A Cancun man who was rushed to hospital Monday with gunshot wounds died shortly after arriving. The man was transferred to hospital Monday evening after he was shot in a street of Villas del Mar III.
Police found the injured man laying in the middle of the road in SM 248 after responding to the 7:00 p.m. report by area residents. The unidentified man was able to tell police that while walking on the street, two people began shooting at him from a motorcycle.
He was hit several times by bullets to his abdomen, chest and arm. Shortly after being admitted to the General Hospital, doctors pronounced his death.
