Cancun, Q.R. — An Internet company employee died Sunday in Cancun from an electrical shock during an installation. The employee was making the installation on the second level of a home when he accidental made contact with CFE cables.
The male employee fell from a height of approximately four meters from the roof, landing on the concrete below. Paramedics were called to the home on Iguana Street in the Paraíso Maya subdivision where they found the man.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. With the death, police and elements of the FGE were notified. Personnel from Civil Protection also arrived to look into safety factors surrounding the accident.
