Cancun, Q.R. — The new overpass system for the Cancun International Airport is nearing 75 percent finished. On Thursday, Governor Mara Lezama reported briefly on the advancements.

“With an advance of almost 75 percent in the construction of the airport distributor, we will inaugurate this mega project very soon. Work is currently being carried out on loop 35, paving on the trunk and on the removal of the product from the demolition of abutment 4 of the old structure.

“We continue to work hand-in-hand with the Government of Mexico so that this project, which will transform the mobility of the people of Quintana Roo and our visitors, shortening their travel times, is ready in a timely manner.”
