Cancun, Q.R. — A Cancun motorist ended up driving through the glass window of a Hotel Zone pharmacy after a failed attempt to park. The unidentified driver had pulled up in the front of the pharmacy with the intention to park when they hit the gas pedal instead.
Police assistance was requested at kilometer 14 of Kukulcán Boulevard for the early afternoon mishap. There were no injuries reported, however, the material damage was steep.
According to the data provided by elements of the Municipal Secretariat of Citizen Security and Traffic (SMSCyT), “the driver of a red Kia accelerated at the moment he was trying to park to enter the establishment.
“For this reason, he climbed the sidewalk and entered the pharmacy, where his unit was left,” they reported.
