Cancun, Q.R. — Ten men have been transferred to a Cancun jail after a beach operation in the Cancun Hotel Zone. The operation, which included elements from several agencies, arrested the group after witnessing a drug exchange.
Elements involved in the permanent Playa Segura operation were patrolling the beach near kilometer 3.5 of Kukulcán Boulevard in Cancun when they observed the group exchanging bags of drugs.
In a social media briefing, the SSP of Quintana Roo said “The Quintana Roo Police in coordination with the Quintana Roo FGE and SEMAR arrested Isidro “N”, Héctor “N”, Víctor “N”, Félix “N”, Sergio “N”, Lucio “N”, Miguel “N”, Ever “N”, José “N ”And Fernando“ N ”, for their alleged participation” in drug-related crimes.
The group was found in possession of 86 street doses of drugs including cocaine and marijuana, along with cash and a scale, for which they were arrested.
