Cancun firemen rescue two children from burning room

Cancun, Q.R. — Two minors found inside a burning home were rescued by Cancun firemen. Neighbors in the Alfredo V. Bonfil district called 9-1-1 after seeing smoke coming from the house.

Cancun firemen arrived to a burning room in a tenement house. Police and personnel from the fire department entered the house to rescue the minors who were trapped in the middle of the fire.

Both children were handed over to paramedics who transferred them to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

The fire was extinguished and prevented from spreading to other rooms. During the incident, it was confirmed that the minors’ parents were not at home. Authorities have not provided a cause for the fire.
