Cancun, Q.R. — The driver of a compact car was left trapped in his vehicle after it was hit by a transport bus along Tulum Avenue.
The accident happened around 7:00 p.m. in front of Plaza Las Tiendas in the Crucero de Cancún area when a compact car reportedly attempted to enter Tulum Avenue and collided with a bus carrying construction workers.
Paramedics arrived to help the person who was found trapped inside the compact car. Using the jaws of life, firemen were able to free him. He was transported to a Cancun hospital.
Municipal transit agents were also on scene to sort out the mess of metal left on the Cancun roadway.
