Cancun, Q.R. — A motorcycle driver passing a car ended up in hospital after colliding with a truck. On Wednesday, motorists in Region 247 of Cancun called for an ambulance after witnessing the failed attempt to pass.
Witnesses to the 8:00 a.m. accident told police that the driver of the bike was in the process of passing a car at Arco Vial when he crashed head on with oncoming truck in the opposite lane.
The bike driver was transferred to a Cancun hospital in serious condition with undisclosed injuries, while police held the driver of the Chevy truck for questioning.
