Cancun, Q.R. — A construction worker died Saturday night after being hit by a bus. The man was hit near Residencial Campestre in Cancun. Police located the man’s body laying on the road of Luis Donaldo Colosio Boulevard. Paramedics confirmed his death at the scene.
According to preliminary information, the driver of the bus failed to see a group of workers in a construction zone. While driving through the area, he hit one of the men, dragging him for several meters.
The construction worker was found pinned under the rear tires of the bus. The driver of the staff bus was arrested from the scene. The deceased man has not been identified.
