Cancun, Q.R. — A Cancun construction worker was killed Monday after falling from a 10-story building in SM 5. Paramedics were at the Nadar Avenue scene Monday evening in response to the call for medical help.
Other onsite workers reported the fall to emergency 9-1-1 services. Responding paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Agents from the Benito Juárez Municipal Police and Civil Protection arrived to begin the corresponding investigations into the deadly worksite accident.
It is not clear how the construction worker fell from the building, however, Civil Protection are looking into the use of safety gear.
